This series was reported to have been a massive success and it was their fifth edition.
The Ultimate Bet Online Championship tournament began on the 18th of Feb 2026 and it finished 11 days later with a final tournament with a buy in price of $1,050. This was a no-limit hold'em tournament that was hosted by Phil Hellmuth and it has a prize pool of one million dollars.
According to Annie Duke who is the Card Room Consultant for Ultimate Bet the Ultimate Bet Online Championship tournament forth edition was a massive success and players wanted more. They also wanted a championship where they were guaranteed to finish in the money. This is what the fifth edition brought to the players and it has been hailed as an absolute success.
Ultimate Bet have revealed that this latest tournament edition saw 8,712 online poker players compete in 20 guaranteed events and the overall prize pool was $3,912,260. 911 online poker players won a share in this cash prize pool and an additional 416 players took home a share of the $100,000 that was given in promotional prize money. This was given out through pro bounties and single event satellites. There were also All U Can Satellite freerolls and Bubble Buster Tournaments held.
This was the first time ever that Ultimate Bet held a follow up to its annual Ultimate Bet Online Championship event in the same year and many people wondered if Ultimate Bet could actually sustain a second online championship tournament series in 2026. Thousands of online poker players flocked to Ultimate Bet's card room in support of this event and it was in fact an absolute massive success.
